Virtu Ferries have launched their Fantastic Family Resorts in Sicily brochure for summer 2005. Virtu is offering three villaggi turistici at special package prices.

Baia Samuele, a four-star resort, is 15 minutes away from the port of Pozzallo. Lovely bungalows with play areas, a sandy beach and full size swimming pool are all interconnected by a mini train. The cuisine is out of this world, you will have no regrets about the full board.

Conte di Cabrera, only 10 minutes from Pozzallo, is a three-star beach club that has proved to be very popular with young groups and is good value for money. Accommodation is on half board which may tempt you to take trips to Modica and Ragusa just minutes away.

Virtu Ferries provides transfers to and from both clubs and the catamaran. Both resorts cater for all ages and because they are so close to Pozzallo, 90 minutes by catamaran, it is excellent for families with very young children.

If you are a little more adventurous and especially if you are travelling by car, Naxos Beach Club is a good choice, half an hour away from Catania and two-and-a-half from Pozzallo. The club is set in a large mature park on the Giardini Naxos beach only minutes from Taormina by cable car at Mazzaro. Your half board accommodation will allow for some interesting excursions to Gole di Alcantara, Etna, and Messina and on the way back Etnaland water park.
