Colourful Flowers

Malta Independent Monday, 16 May 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

There was an abundance of colour at San Anton Gardens yesterday, a little more than usual, as the place was full of flowers for the annual spring show of flowers, vegetables, fruit and pot-plants. Apart from flowers, house plants, cacti and succulents, vegetables, fruit and honey, there were also stands showing medicinal plants.

Yesterday’s event included demonstrations of beekeeping, embroidery, ganutell, spinning, tapestry, beading and lace-making. Later in the day, President Eddie Fenech Adami presented the winners with prizes.
