“The main aim behind Bank of Valletta’s Staff Suggestion Scheme is to encourage our staff to come up with innovative ways to enhance our customer service making this more straightforward and efficient,” said chief officer, operations at Bank of Valletta Igino Xuereb, during the presentation of the Staff Suggestion Scheme Awards for the first quarter of 2005.

“The success of this scheme is evident from the high number of suggestions submitted. Over 300 suggestions were received from the bank’s staff during the three-month period under review. The bank’s management welcomes and encourages such a high participation rate. This underlines strong employee commitment and dedication towards the growth and development of Bank of Valletta,” he continued.

Simon Xuereb won the award for the best suggestion of the quarter,= while Domenic Ellul won the award for the highest number of accepted suggestions during the period in question.
