Parliament: Exam Complaints

Malta Independent Wednesday, 8 June 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 21 years ago

There have been some complaints regarding the current examination session, Education Minister Louis Galea told Carmelo Abela.

Three parents out of 118 complained about the University of London French listening comprehension which was held at the Biagio Steps Centre, where a dividing wall between two halls prevented students from seeing their examiner.

Another complaint regarded the Maltese SEC exam held at Marija Regina School on Saturday 14 May, where the morning session was disrupted by the celebrations of the Hamrun football team.

Another parent complained about the Maria Assunta School in Hamrun as a result of the size of the classroom and pigeons on the windowsill.
