Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club, in collaboration with Dedicated Micros (Malta) Ltd. of San Gwann, have announced their first Dedicated Micros Summer Open tournament.

The competition will be held under the auspices of the Malta Tennis Federation and will consist of the Men’s Doubles and Ladies’ Doubles.

The tournament starts on Sunday 3 July and finishes on Saturday 9 July, with play starting at 6pm. The finals will be played on the Modelshop Court of the club.

A prize fund is being offered in the two Doubles events, with the four winners in the Men’s and Women’s sections each receiving Lm50. Trophies will also be given to the winners and runners-up.

The closing date for applications is 25 June. Entry forms may be obtained from the VLTC and other leading tennis clubs on the island.

VLTC have thanked Dedicated Micros (Malta) Ltd., particularly Steve Muscat, Finance Director of the Company, who has directly intervened to make this Open possible.
