The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in collaboration with the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) and the Maltese EESC representative of Group III (varied interests group) will be holding a Conference in Malta on 9 September 2005. The theme of the conference is The Contribution of Civil Society Organisations to the Lisbon Process.

As currently the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development does not have a comprehensive list of all relevant civil society organisations, all those interested in participating are kindly asked to send the following details by post or email: Name of organisation; name of president/secretary general; postal address; telephone number and email address to The Executive Secretary, MCESD, St Calcedonius Square, Floriana VLT 16, by not later than Thursday 30 June 2005.
