Without going into the merits of whether “fresh meat” is better than imported meat, which local poultry producers tried to explain, with obvious vested interests, in their letter of 26 June, it is an obvious truth that both “fresh” and imported meat are dead meat.

The only way to prevent dead meat is by becoming a vegetarian.
