Corporate Clientele seminar

Malta Independent Sunday, 10 July 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Computer Solutions, in collaboration with IBM, held a seminar targeted towards its corporate clientele. The seminar was held at the Corinthia San Gorg and focused on the IBM eServer iSeries systems which are the most complete and secure integrated business systems designed to run thousands of the world’s most popular business applications.

The seminar was opened by Michel Demajo, managing director, Computer Solutions and addressed by Nigel Adams. Mr Adams is iSeries Product & Sales Program Manager for IBM in the UK where, over a 25 year period, he has been involved with the System/3 all the way to the AS/400 and iSeries.

In the early 90s, Mr Adams was responsible for producing the AS/400 System Handbook and the AS/400 System Builder which have become essential reference documents for the system. During the last eight years he has been the product manager for the AS/400 and now for the iSeries in the UK and latterly across the EMEA Northern Region.

The seminar was closed by Joseph M Demajo, Chairman and CEO, M. Demajo Group.

The aim of the seminar was to inform its audience on the methods with which the client is enabled to extract maximum benefit from his investment, as well as to share the latest innovative technologies which make it possible to get the most out of the performance of the IBM eServer iSeries system.

It provides faster, more reliable and highly secure ways to help simplify the IT environment by reducing the number of servers and associated staff required, thus saving on costs and enabling reinvestment in expanding the business.

Computer Solutions’ relationship with IBM spans the last 19 years, during which it achieved the status of Tier 1 IBM Business Partner, supplying and supporting the iSeries from the first moment it was placed on the market several years ago.

Since then Computer Solutions’ experience together with IBM’s back-up and support, has built a strong skills base and kept up to date with the necessary training and expertise necessary to provide the best service possible.
