At TC Kordin

This year’s edition of the annual Juniors’ Open tournament organised by Tennis Club Kordin under the auspices of the Malta Tennis Federation is being sponsored for the first time by Wilson through their agent in Malta.

This tournament will take place between the 6 and 13 August. Applications for participation in this Wilson Junior Open may be collected from Tennis Club Kordin or from all the other leading tennis clubs in Malta on any day of the week. Closing date for entries is Sunday 31 July.

All youngsters, boys and girls, interested in the game of tennis are encouraged to participate in this tournament in events of U-18; U-16; U-14; U-12 and U-10. All these categories, with the exception of the U-10 years of age, carry computer ranking points.

The finalists of each event will receive a voucher valid for Wilson items.

Draws, under the supervision of the Malta Tennis Federation tournament director, will be held at Tennis Club Kordin on Wednesday 3 August at 7pm.

At the VLTC

The Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club (VLTC) will be organising its annual San Michel Junior Open in accordance with the Malta Tennis Federation calendar.

The tournament is a ranking event and is open to players from under 10 up to 18 years of age. The Open will be played between July 30 and August 6.

Application forms are available from VLTC, Corradino and at major tennis clubs and must be submitted by not later than Friday 22 July.

Draws will be held on Wednesday 27 July.
