Msida St Joseph FC have categorically denied that there have been any discussions with Hamrun Spartans FC over the future of Msida SJ player Roderick Bajada.

Some weeks ago, Hamrun had officially communicated with Msida to acquire the services of the midfielder, but it is not true that there have been any talks on Bajada between the two clubs.

The committee also made it clear that there are no plans to sell any players currently registered with the club, especially the three Under 21 international players: this unless there is a specific request for such a move by the players themselves to leave the club.

Meanwhile Msida have so far made only one new signing, that of former Hibs, Valletta and Malta defender David Carabott.

Earlier, they had announced that Todor Raykov is their new coach, taking over from Mario Petrone, who was at the helm last season.
