Friends are cool. Friends are everywhere. You make friends when you go to the football nursery, when you go dancing and at school. You start making friends with people who you like.
Remember the first day at school? How did you make friends? Who are your friends? Why are they your friends? Can everyone be your friend?
Let's use Thinking Skills to see why we make friends.
Name of the Thinking Tool for this week:
CAF - Consider All Factors. Think about everything.
Why use CAF?
CAF is fun to use. You make a list of all the things you have to think of. It's easy. Let's try together.
CAF - Choosing a friend.
What is important for me when making friends? Let's make a list.
* My friend has to like similar things like me
* She/He has to know how to keep a secret
* It's important that she/he likes sports
* My friends have to like ice-cream
* I would like to have friends who like going to the beach
Your list could be much longer. Ask yourself "Did I think of everything?" And if you have new points add them to your list.
Now try another exercise. Do a CAF on Enjoying the Summer Holidays.
What do you have to think about to enjoy your summer holidays?
Happy Thinking
