We have complained to the local council. I have written to people of both parties in regard to the disgraceful state of our street and footpath.

I am an 85-year-old resident and we pay our income tax on time. This morning I fell over due to the poor state of the footpath. My wife has lived in this street since 1949 which has seen no tarmac since. Streets that have had a much shorter life in this area have been done. Our street is the only one in this area that has been neglected. Due to my fall I have badly grazed my leg. If it happens again I shall sue the council.
