The competition will be a two-day 36-hole scratch medal stroke play competition to be played on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th August 2005.

A number of young golfers from America, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Hungary, South Africa as well as of course the Polish young stars will feature in the tournament.

Young Chris Bergedahl will be playing in the R&A Junior Open Competition to be held next year at the Heswall Golf Club near Liverpool. Chris will be playing in the competition’s silver division; a 3-day 54-hole scratch medal stroke play event. The R&A Junior Open attracts a high number of under 16-year olds representing all nations affiliated to the R&A who are invited to enter their leading boy and girl golfers.

Both Nicholas and Chris are regular playing members at Royal Malta and enjoy a current handicap of 8 and 9 respectively.
