The Ghajn tal Hasselin in Msida is in disgusting condition.
These filthy and definitely unsanitary conditions are only metres away from residential flats housing children and elderly people... surely someone is responsible for this?
The authorities were very keen to clean it up and carry out works on it a few years ago for the eyes of the media but it has rarely been touched since. The disgusting state it is in today is not the fault of the residents, but of the flooding that swamps Msida when it rains!
When are those responsible going to realise that it’s not just enough to begin a project? Projects need to be seen through. The Ghajn tal Hasselin is in desperate need of regular upkeep and cleaning. It’s simply unhealthy and revolting and the people of Msida shouldn’t have to put up with it any longer.
