22PM: The daily programme on Education 22

Malta Independent Sunday, 18 September 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

As from 3 October, Education 22 will start broadcasting its evening magazine programme by the name of 22pm, a programme to complement 22am, the station’s breakfast show; two programmes with one mission but with different content and audiences.

22pm, presented by Lynn Faurè, will be on air from Monday to Friday between 6pm and 7.30pm. Viewers will be getting information about languages, arts, culture, music, astronomy, news from the educational sector, students on campus, at the Junior College, at MCAST and other higher education institutions, families and information about voluntary and youth associations. The programme takes a closer look at well-known personalities from a different perspective

But most of all, what make 22pm different are three particular sections. The Customer Care section gives viewers the opportunity to call with any complaints or suggestions about schools and education. Whenever it is possible, an answer will be given in a short space of time.

Another section is about cancer, with information about the condition, how to face it, family support and past experiences.

Talent is highlighted in another part of 22pm, with children and young people showing their talent, which may be singing, playing an instrument, acting, dancing, painting or even inventing something.

If you have a talent, 22pm lets you demonstrate it on television! Just send an SMS to 5061-9822 with your details.

22pm is also asking who is your Maltese favourite artist, or which personality do you most admire? If you wish to know more about him or her, send the personality’s name by SMS to 5061-9822 and leave the rest to the programme.
