Col. Muammar Gaddafi is known for his penchant for dropping in uninvited and unannounced on unsuspecting countries. Especially when those countries happen to be hosting important gatherings, such as the forthcoming CHOGM in Malta in November. The CHOGM, which will include a significant number of world leaders, would be tempting as the ideal forum for Col. Gaddafi to hold forth his theories on the make-up of the next world order.

Malta would be well advised to forestall any embarrassment to itself and its illustrious guests by warning Libya’s leader not to “gatecrash the party”.
