The Paolites beat Rabat Ajax 10-0, while Birkirkara beat neighbours St Venera 5-1.

Hibernians were obviously superior and scored their goals through Dorianne Theuma (4), Tessie Agius, Ylenia Carabott (2) and Dionne Tonna (2) and Lyndsay Shead.

In the second match, Birkirkara also had little difficulty in beating the Saints.

Birkirkara’s goals were netted by Catherine Camilleri, Stephania Farrugia (3) and Eleonora Agliano, while Fiona Mangion had temporarily pulled one back for St Venera, from a penalty.
