Reference is made to your article "Stormy waters at 'Akkademja' AGM (TMIS, 2 October)

I wish to declare that during the meeting referred to in your article I never confirmed any "promises" that were made to the previous Akkademja council, neither in a diplomatic way nor in any other manner.

In fact, I did not even speak about this subject as can be confirmed by all those who attended the said meeting.
