Volunteers are organising a cake sale and a dinner in aid of research to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
The proceeds will go towards the British Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that effects vital organs in the body, especially the lungs and pancreas.
The cake sale will be held on Saturday, 22 October at the Luxol Grounds, St Andrews, from 9am onwards. The dinner will be held on Friday, 4 November at the Corinthia San Gorg at 8pm. Tickets, including a full buffet dinner, dessert, wine, water and coffee, are on sale at Lm12 per person.
Both events are being coordinated by friends of Josette Falzon whose five-year-old daughter Francesca has cystic fibrosis. Josette will also be running the half marathon to raise funds for the CF Trust.
