We are a group of parents whose children attend Dun Guzepp Xerri Primary School, St Julian’s.

Over the years an ever-increasing number of stray cats (some of them sick) have been roaming in the school green areas.

We are aware that the head of school had tried several times (but without success) to get help from various animal groups to solve the problem and put an end to the pain some of these poor cats were going through.

Finally, last summer, two groups contacted the head and offered their services, free of charge, to gather these cats and take them to the vet ,where those cats that were suffering were put to sleep and others treated.
