They say the dog is man’s best friend but why shouldn’t man’s best friend be man?

Why couldn’t people from their mouths harsh and cruel words they ban?

All people should depend upon the strength they draw from one another.

For we should all be one in love and faith, every Christian a brother.

Why do people hurt each other, why with malice afore thought do they speak their mind?

If only as Catholics we are able to revere this trend with words that are always kind.

If only we would realise that though we seem to prosper now and say and do as we dare

The evil will spend eternity in terror and despair.
