The third edition of the Malta Laser Class Association Regatta is to be held on Friday 26 and Saturday 28 November. The event is being hosted by the Malta Young Sailors Club and racing will held in St. Paul's Bay.

The M.L.C.A. is hoping to emulate the success of last year's edition which was held at Birzebbugia where as many as 50 dinghies had participated.

Besides being open to the Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7 Classes, participation is again being opened to the Optimist Class Dinghies which the M.L.C.A. recognises as the foundation Class for the Laser sailors of the future.

The importance of dinghy sailing in Malta is becoming more evident by the ever-growing number of Laser sailors who participated in the 2005 edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race.
