The demolition of the Jumbo Lido at Qui-si-Sana in Sliema is most welcome. Having been abandoned for so many years, the structure was slowly falling apart and was becoming an eyesore.

What is now hoped for is that the area is restored to its natural beauty, and that no other buildings are allowed on the shore.
