MaltaNET and DataStream now under one roof

Malta Independent Wednesday, 16 November 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

Following the announcement last month that maltaNET and DataStream are merging, the two groups of employees are now under one roof. The offices are located at the Dolphin Centre in Balzan, from where maltaNET have been operating for the past three years.

Customer care manager Jason Vella said that “relocating all employees under one roof as early as possible, was key in achieving a smooth integration of the two companies. With teams in all areas made up of key individuals from both companies, we are well poised to face the challenges that lie ahead”.

maltaNET was the retail internet arm of the Maltacom Group, while DataStream’s main business was based on a wholesale model. “The employees from both companies have now settled into the new merged scenario and a very good working environment is being established. Clients have also easily adapted to DataStream’s move from their previous location in Psaila Street, Birkirkara. With better facilities for client parking, and a larger customer area, DataStream clients are being better served from the Dolphin Centre location. Bringing together the strengths of the two teams into one company located in the same building also ensures a higher quality customer experience,” said Mr Vella.

maltaNET and DataStream are members of the Maltacom Group.
