The 58th FISEC International General Assembly will be held in Malta at the Corinthia Marina San Gorg Hotel between tomorrow and Sunday.
Over 50 delegates from different countries around the world, all affiliated with FISEC International, will be attending this assembly. It should be noted that Messrs Gianfranco Selvaggi and Louis Borg are the General Secretary and Vice President respectively of the International Committee. Ms. Julie Bajada is the General Secretary of the CIRPP Committee within the FISEC International Council.
During the general assembly, the delegates will have the opportunity to discuss various topics amongst which the future of the games, the criteria used in the selection of the organising countries of the games, the sporting disciplines represented in the games, the future of FISEC and the 2006 games in Hungary.
On Saturday 3 December, the delegates will be addressed by Mr. Math Pieters the President of FISEC International, by Ms Lies Jansen and Louis Borg who are the two Vice Presidents and also by Mr Gianfranco Selvaggi.
The Minister of Education responsible for sport Dr Louis Galea will also address the delegates during the Saturday session.
Asked to comment about the organisation of this seminar in our country, Malta FISEC Council Chairman Brother Martin Borg fsc stated that he and his committee are very proud to welcome the international delegates and to organize such an important event.
