The Council of the Malta Cycling Federation wishes to remind athletes, members of clubs or individual, that 2006 registration of those on the 2005 register closes on 31 December.

A fresh numeration system is planned together with reclassification of cyclists in their various categories. Also a tight racing programme starting on January 15 encourages the association to finalise preparation by the end of this month.

If these cyclists choose to register later, they may do so but may face sanctions.

New cyclists may continue to apply for registration throughout 2006.
