Anton Tabone, Speaker of the House of Representatives, received at his Chambers, Libor Secka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic.

The ambassador was accompanied by the Consul, Tonio Casapinta.

The meeting focused on the improvement of bilateral relations between the two countries, in particular the enhancement of relations between the parliamentary institutions of both countries.

Ambassador Secka highlighted important cultural events between the two countries and the visits of Maltese personalities to Prague during next year, with special reference to the visit of a delegation from the Foreign and European Affairs Committee.

Mr Tabone thanked Ambassador Secka for his continued efforts to improve the relations between the Czech Republic and Malta.
