I was very interested to read the article under this title (TMID 20 December) because all the details showed that this pyramid is much older than the pyramids of Egypt built after the flood.
This pyramid and its surroundings show proof that it existed before the Great Flood, known as the flood of Noah, which was caused by the abrupt opening of mountains 8,000 feet high, starting in Spain in the Sierra Nevada range and continuing in the Celiffe range of North Morocco in Tangier. This range stopped the Atlantic Ocean in the west from flowing into the empty Mediterranean depression thousands of feet below.
When this gap subsided, mentioned in the Holy Bible in Genesis, Chapter 7, verse 11: “Broken were all the fountains of the great deep”, the Atlantic rushed in and swept everything before it, including the archaeological temples of Malta.
This monstrous wave reached Mesopotamia (modern Iraq) and when it retreated, it left a layer of salty silt over everywhere it had covered. In Iraq, Sir Charles Leonard Wooley discovered three metres of seawater-deposited silt. In the south of France they found two metres, and in Malta, at the Tarxien Temples, Sir Temi Zammit and my father Carmel found one metre of silt. This silt made Sir Temi change the history of Malta from that of the Phoenicians to that of the Prehistoric Stone Age, the Neolithic Age.
I say all this to show that everything that is found on and around this pyramid is proof of the result of this diluvial wave which, it seems, left a layer of sea-deposited silt one metre deep under which have already been discovered 24,000 Neolithic artefacts that have been dated as being 7,000 years old.
Of course, those sand stone plates are all paving stones from the Neolithic people, and the existing pyramid under the silt forming the hill was built by Neolithic people, not by the Illyrian people, since they were there after the flood.
The pyramid, which is covered with silt settled by the wave of the flood, proves that it was built before the flood and so it is Neolithic – as is evidenced by the Neolithic artefacts that are 7,000 years old.
So this area and the pyramid itself are living proof of the result of the diluvial sea wave that left it buried under a metre of sea-deposited silt.
So this pre-diluvian pyramid is the oldest pyramid in the pre-diluvian world around the Mediterranean. If ever excavated, it could be found that the pointed top of the pyramid was swept away by the force of the rushing wave.
