Real Madrid’s Robinho has admitted that he was not playing at his best at Real Madrid and took partial blame for the side’s recent disappointments.
He was speaking after taking part in a friendly against a team led by Real team-mate Roberto Carlos.
Spectators attending the match were anxious to see the best of the Madrid number 10 back in Brazil for some holidays and an escape from the pressure in Spain. Robinho responded by scoring five goals.
However, he made it also clear that the blame must be shouldered by all the Brazilian ‘contingent’. “The whole team isn’t doing well, that’s for sure, and it’s not just me. We all need to give more of ourselves on the pitch.”
