In reference to Mr Griffith’s letter (TMID 20 December) entitled Magnificent Gozo International Celebration, the organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration is humbled to hear such comments. Like Mr Griffith, many other participants of different denominations and nationalities have asked about the next event.

Considering the massive response and attendance to the first ever Gozo International Celebration – Christmas Edition at Qala, it is the intention of the organising committee to organise an Easter Edition on Sunday, 2 April and a Festa Edition (a date will be announced at a later stage) of the same event at Qala, the seat of the event. These two events will include fresh programme items appropriate for the particular time of the year indoor and outdoor and due consideration will be given the many excellent suggestions and wishes of the attendees.

The organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration would like to thank the hundreds of families, couples and individuals for their kind comments and to our many volunteers that have made this memorable event possible.
