I am Charmaine Borg, the sister of Adrian Borg who lost his life at San Frangisk D’Assisi School on 27 October 2003 when a goal post fell on him and killed him. I’m writing this letter in the name of my family to express our anger and deep disappointment.

Apart from the fact that in the past two years we have heard nothing from the authorities about the case, on 27 October, which happened to be the second anniversary of his death, there was no memorial Mass, which would have brought the students together (his mates) to remember him at least on this day. This clearly shows that the school, the authorities, most of the teachers and his mates, have forgotten my brother. It is very much a disappointment for us and something to be ashamed of.

Nothing can bring my beloved brother back, but at least a thought that he has not been forgotten would have been greatly appreciated.
