I do agree with your correspondent S. Xuereb (TMID, 5 January), that restaurant owners are always complaining about low activity, even when it is evident that their outlets are not doing so badly.

I frequent Paceville on a regular basis and I can say that most of the restaurants there are always busy. Of course, some are busier than others. But I think that, on the whole, the Maltese are a people that like to eat out and they do so on a regular basis.
