Reference is being made to the photo caption (TMID, 3 January) in the news section, page 3, regarding cleaning of St George’s Road before and after New Year’s Eve.

Kindly note that the Cleansing Services Department are the contractors of the St Julian’s local council.

This department is instructed by the council to clean up the area throughout the year. Extra cleaning services are also provided by this department every Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and during the summer period.
