Year 2006 will again be another busy season for Massimo Cremona in the international competitions organised around the World by the Federation of International Sports of Table Football (Subbuteo)
It was a good year for Cremona in 2005, where he established himself among the elite players in Table Football. He finished the year in the second place having occupied it in the sixth consecutive month.
In mid-January till the first week of February, in four consecutive weekends Cremona will be taking part in four different tournaments in four different countries.
On 15 January, Cremona will be taking part in the 30th edition of the “Trofeo Citta di Catania” in Sicily.
On 22 January he is to take part in the International Open of Brussels in Belgium, on the 29 January in the Grand Prix of Manchester in England while on the 4th and 5th of February, it will be the Major of Elbeuf in France.
In Brussels and Elbeuf, another two Maltese players Joseph Mifsud and Hansel Mallia will be taking part as well.
World rankings
In the world ranking list published recently for the year ending 2005 by the FISTF, Dutchman Verhagen is still first with 4,061 points followed by Massimo Cremona with 2,357 points while in the third place is Portugal’s Guimares with 1,967 points.
Maltese player Joseph Mifsud now climbs to 11th place with 1,324 points while Hansel Mallia is in 16th place with 881points.
M.T.F.S.A. tournament
The next local ranking tournament which will be organised by the Malta Table Football Sports Association is going to be held at the Zabbar Subbuteo Club on the 15th of January.
Everyone is invited to participate. All the categories are going to be held including the – Open, Veterans, Under 19 and Under 15.
