I write to pass on my best wishes to the new Bishop of Gozo, Fr Mario Grech, who will take over the headship of the Gozitan diocese on Sunday.

I wish him the best of luck in his new mission, one that will not be easy. I am sure that with dedication and commitment, and most of all love and prayer, he will be carrying it out in the best way possible.

A word of thanks must go to outgoing bishop Mgr Nikol Cauchi, who has led the Gozitan Catholics for as far back as I can remember.
