Members of the Sportswriters Association are at present voting for the 2005 Sportsman, Sportswoman, Official, Team and Youth of the Year.

The Finals Night is to be held next Saturday at the Dolmen Resort Hotel in St Paul’s Bay when the winners in each category will be announced.

This year’s programme will be presented by Christian Micallef and Pauline Agius.

Special guest will be Ivan Filletti, who was the winner of the Best Solo Artist in the last edition of the Bay Music Awards.

A special feature – ‘A Year of sport 2005’, prepared by Manwel Gauci, will also be screened during the ceremony.
