After the success of last summer’s FMfunkymusic’s D’Housenight at Gianpula, featuring Sick Puppy, FMfunkymusic, together with Becks, will be launching a series of quality house nights by the name of Cheeky Tunes. These exclusive events will be offering the exclusive house clubber, those quality nights that only FMfunkymusic can host.

The first volume of Cheeky Tunes will be held at Gianpula (entrance from Molecule) on 3 February starting at 11 pm, featuring house international superstar DJ Ian Pooley (pictured), a DJ/producer who has solidly contributed to the house cause since the early 90’s and whose DJ style is never out of fashion.

Whether it’s a big festival, a laidback Latin lounge club in Brazil or a top deep house night in London, Ian always manages to rock the party. He created superb tracks such as the massive Chord Memory on the Force Inc. label, and housier and disco-orientated workouts for labels such as MoS, NRK and Sony’s V2. He has also remixed for Daft Punk, The Cardigans, The Beloved and Green Velvet, among others. Ian was recently a regular feature on BBC Radio One Essential Mix.

Other local DJs in attendance are DJ Drury, Benji and Conrad Heal. As with the first event, there will be a VIP area, cocktail bars and fashion gifts.
