Harold Scorey Scholarship in broadcast journalism

The Harold Scorey Scholarship in Broadcast Journalism was established in memory of the late Harold Scorey who, for a number of years, was the head of the Rediffusion and Malta Television News Depart-ment.

It is open to all journalists who work or are aspiring to work in broadcasting, as well as all those who are directly connected with broadcasting.

The bursary amounts to Lm3,000 and the successful candidate must make use of the sum during 2006/2007 for studies related to broadcasting at a recognised foreign university or institution of his or her choice.

All applications will be examined by an interviewing panel, specifically nominated to conduct the selection process. The decision of the panel will be final.
