During Sunday’s mass meeting, the Malta Labour Party will show the people how it intends to give Malta a new beginning, Opposition Leader Alfred Sant said yesterday.
Speaking in Qawra yesterday, Dr Sant said the Tal-Qroqq hospital, the Cirkewwa and Mgarr terminals, the Cottonera rehabilitation project and the park and ride schemes were areas in which the government had failed.
Dr Sant said that Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi did not offer serious leadership and that the country needed to turn over a new leaf. He said that the MLP can offer a government that will work to reduce the cost of living, create jobs and instill a sense of social justice.
