The Discalced Carmelites (Terezjani) OCD have several charitable commitments, two hospitals, one in Shubra, Cairo and the other in Alexandria at Ras el Sewda.

In Alexandria we have a school for children. We teach women to stitch and to read.

We give financial help to the society of St Vincent de Paule. We help the poor who want to get married. Also we lend wedding dresses free and other help.

Besides the material help, spiritual help is given.

Masses and prayers are said for our benefactors and for their deceased. God will reward them.
