On the 8th February The Island Car Club the association for motor sport for the Malta Nation Hill climb and Sprint Championship 2004/2005 organised a buffet dinner at the Intercontinental Hotel for its presentation of trophies aerated to the winners for its events held at Pinellu Mellieha, Ta’ Qali and Gnejna Bay. Overall winners were 3rd Matthew Zammit, 2nd Lino Brincat and 9 times winner Hubert Camilleri.

At this presentation Intercontinental Cars also displayed its new Porsche Cayman S which evolves its tradition with state-of-the-art Porsche engineering. This same cayman s was launched at Malta International Airport with a spectacular run with an Airmalta aircraft.

The new championship will start today at Mizieb limits of Mellieha.

A good turnout is expected and we also have a number of new entries-drivers for this new championship.
