Another round of local council elections is coming up and, as usually happens, the two main political parties are pushing what “their” councils did and downgrading those led by their rivals.
What I cannot understand is that for the Nationalists, all Nationalist-led councils did well, while those led by the Labour Party did next to nothing.
On the other hand, the Labour Party gives high marks to councils with a Labour majority and low ratings to those led by the PN.
I am sure that there are Nationalist councils that did well and others that did not. Likewise, some Labour councils performed better than others. I believe that political parties should be more objective in their assessments.
