Crackers: Children's Cinema Day

KRS Film Distributors have pleasure in announcing the next Children Cinema Day on Saturday 4 March. On this special day for kids, cinemas will be offering a choice of no fewer than 19 films at a reduced admission price of Lm1 (accompanying adults Lm1.50).

The list of films to be screened on the day includes comedies, fantasy adventures, animated features and dramas. Film shows at all cinemas in Malta start at 9am and will run until 7pm. The two-screen cinema in Gozo will have Children’s shows at 4pm and 6pm.

The following are the films scheduled to be screened on Children Cinema Day: King Kong; Cheaper By The Dozen 2; The Chronicles Of Narnia – The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe; Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire; Lassie; Big Momma’s House 2; Nanny Mcphee; Zathura; Pride & Prejudice; Chicken Little; The Legend Of Zorro; Dreamer; Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit; Oliver Twist; Just Like Heaven; Sky High; Goal!; Spider-Man 2 and Madagascar.

All the films showing on Children Cinema Day carry either a PG or a U classification.

The Children Cinema Day is once again being organised with the collaboration of the following cinemas: Eden Century Cinemas – St George’s; Embassy Cinemas – Valletta; Empire Cinema Complex – Bugibba; Eden Century Cinemas Galleria – Fgura; The New Sun City Cine Palais – Marsascala and Citadel Theatre – Gozo.

A film mini poster will be given with every child ticket purchased. Booking of tickets for Children Cinema Day will open next Monday 27 February.

Early booking is recommended.
