Moviment Era Gdida is calling young people and adults for A Lent Experience with a Difference. These are not the traditional Ezercizzi tar-Randan, but they are a call for renewal during Lent. They are not organised in a church but they form part of the Church because “where two or three are united in His name”, there is the Church.

Purposely chosen to facilitate transport this new Lent Experience will be held at Hotel Le Meridien, Phoenicia Floriana, from Monday 6 March to Saturday 11 March 2006 from 7pm to 9pm

On Sunday 12 March a Community Day will be celebrated for the whole family at Buskett, Rabat, Malta, to underline the emphasis on the family in this year’s Lent Experience.

This new Lent Happening uses audio-visuals, dance, music, and sharing to convey the Christian message of hope.

The main speakers are Joe Gerada, Dr Michael Galea and Fr Colin Apap, the spiritual director of Moviment Era Gdida. Everybody is invited to attend and participate in the follow-up meetings following this year’s Lent Journey.
