Olivia Difesa, FIMBank Vice President – Corporate Business Development awarded the Royal Bank of Scotland Marketors Award for Marketing Managers while reading for a BSc (Hons) Degree in Financial Services and Associateship at the Institute of Financial Services, in partnership with UMIST (University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology).

The IFS, a leading provider of financial education recognised throughout the UK and in key markets overseas, provides for the formal learning needs of consumers and those employed within the industry. The Institute of Financial Services is the official

brand of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), a registered charity and one of the leading bodies for the provision of both education and life-long career support services to the financial services industry, and formal financial education to the public at large.

The award granted to Ms Difesa is given for outstanding performance in

the Marketing Management examination in 2005. Ms Difesa sat for the examination together with 206 other scholars and ranked first both locally and internationally.

FIMBank gives particular importance to the personal and professional development of its staff and encourages them to further their training and achieve higher specialised qualifications.
