I would like to express my thanks to the Mission Fund. During these happy days of Christmas, when we remember the greatest gift given to mankind by Our Divine Father, His own son, it is good to remember the words from the Holy Scripture saying “God loves those who give with joy” (2 Cor 9,7).

I have utilised the help given to me by the Mission Fund in two ways: first I help a number of families to reduce their misery and hunger, especially during Christmas time. I also utilised this help to continue the formation of my diocese’s seminarians, who at present amount to 12.

Finally, I would like to appeal to all Maltese friends of the missions to continue supporting the Mission Fund. I also take this opportunity to wish all your readers and their families a Holy Christmas and a Happy New Year.
