The Nationalist ministers and local councillors should come clean about the proposed Qui-si-Sana project.

It is not a car park for the residents or for visiting shoppers. It is a full-blown entertainment complex of the Bay Street type, with a car park built specifically to serve its needs. The project incorporates a cinema, a bowling alley and several restaurants. This will mean the commercialisation of the area.

The ministers insist that the residential parking zone and the whole embellishment of the area depends on this particular commercial project. This is not the case. Enough off-street parking will be provided by the spaces reserved (about 2,400) for visitors in the Tigne and town centre projects.

Then there is the car park at High Street, which the PN ministers insist we forget. Giving the green light to the Qui-Si-Sana project means that a peaceful residential area will be commercialised.

These are the facts and they cannot be denied.
