The ladies basketball team continued with its final preparations for the competition under the guidance of coaches Santino Coppa and Carlo Farrugia.

The team is training twice a day and on Monday and Tuesday they played against Mozambique and the Melbourne University Basketball team.

Mozambique is in the other group and although the Malta team played a very good game, they lost by 19 points.

On Tuesday the team played against the Melbourne University Basketball team. The Maltese side won this game by more than 20 points.

The team will now have the last training sessions in preparation for the tournament.
