Customer Care at St Luke’s Hospital

Malta Independent Sunday, 19 March 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

I refer to a letter by Judith Falzon titled “Non-customer care at St Luke’s Hospital” (TMIS, 5 March).

The hospital authorities are aware of the circumstances that arose unpredictably in this case and would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. The facts, as well stated by Mrs Falzon herself, are that Dr Noel Fenech, then acting as manager, customer care department, was out of the country for some days but action was taken immediately after to ensure that full attention was given to the case.

Currently, the hospital authorities are issuing a call for applications for the post of customer care manager. In the meantime, till this vacancy is filled, Norma Baldacchino has been assigned as acting coordinator customer care services.

The hospital authorities invite the general public to make use of our customer care department whenever the need arises. We aim to provide a personalised service to each and every customer and this department strives to act as a guide and to assist anyone with any complaints or difficulties with regard to St Luke’s Hospital.

The customer care services department is open seven days a week from Monday to Sunday between 7.30am and 8.30pm including feasts and public holidays. Customer care officials can be contacted on telephone numbers 2595 1543, 2595 1474 and 2595 1183. Otherwise, one can send an e-mail to [email protected]
