Like thousands of others, I had the misfortune of having to spend a number of weeks at St Luke’s Hospital. This misfortune was made up for by the excellent medical service given to me by Prof. Laferla and his team and today I can gladly say that my life has been saved.

The weeks I spent under the care and attention of many nurses and attendants in the ITU, the HDU and finally the GDU were full of warmth and dedication and I am positive that they were instrumental in my total recovery.

I cannot refrain from mentioning Dr Frank Bartolo and his attention to detail and to me at all times.
